Our Individual Quick Frozen Fruit, Afyon-Sultandağı facility is organised according to BRC Food Safety Management System requirements and is located in a very strategic location with its proximity to raw materials and its logistics advantage.

Frozen strawberries, sweet cherries, sour cherries, raspberries, blackberries, apricots, figs and plums are processed in our Individually Quick Frozen facility. All the fruits we are supplying from our own Happy Village Project are classified according to the product type after the raw material acceptance and test stages.

Depending on the product type and demand, it goes through preliminary preparation processes such as washing, sorting, cutting and pitting. Finally, it is shocked and frozen with individually quick frozen technology.

All of the processes in our production facility are carried out using special automatic sorting, product processing and packaging systems, including technologies such as X-Rays and Lasers.

Our frozen products, which are packed with the requested packaging type are stored in our -18°C warehouses without breaking the cold chain and shipped in -21°C cold vehicles.

5S Lean Production Strategy

5S can become an important means of business and a driver for an effective Kaizen continuous improvement environment. Our employees in a 5S environment feel responsibility, ownership, and involvement. We also get a reduction in waste and improved quality and productivity.

Işık Tarım production facilities are covered with solar panels, and most of the energy needs of our production facilities are met by these panels.

Because as a renewable source of power, solar energy has an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change, which is critical to protecting humans, wildlife, and ecosystems. Solar energy can also improve air quality and reduce water use from energy production.
