- Işık Tarım received the 2017 Dried Fruit Export Third Place award from T.I.M. (Turkish Exporters Assembly).

- Hazelnut production factory was activated in Karadeniz Ereğli by incorporating hazelnut production into in-house operations.

- The Happy Hazelnut Project was started. Standards were established with our project partner and "Happy Hazelnut Project" certification was implemented.

- Our company "Akpınar Gıda A.Ş." was established in Afyon. Capacity was increased with a new IQF facility investment.
- Our U.S. company, "Işık Organic Co." was established.
- SEDEX-SMETA social and ethical certificates were obtained.

- Operational efficiency and capacity increase was achieved by implementing the "Lean Production" method at Işık Tarım's dried fruit facility.

- Our company in the UK, "Happy Village Ltd" was established.

- IQF product production in Afyon was incorporated into in-house operations.
- Bio Fair Trade (Fair Trade Sustainability Alliance) projects were initiated.

- BRC certificate, known as the "Food Safety Standard Certificate," was obtained.

- Işık Tarım became the "First Turkish Company" to receive JAS Organic certification from Japan MAFF (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan).

- We entered the IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) sector and began exporting frozen products.

- Organic projects for strawberry, cherry, hazelnut, sour cherry, plum, mulberry, and apple were launched under the Happy Village project.
