Our company, one of Turkey's largest exporters of organic dried fruits, frozen fruits, and hazelnuts, has three main facilities. All organic products from our farmers within our Happy Village Project are processed and packaged in these three facilities.

Işık Tarım facilities are strategically located in three different locations, considering optimal access, proximity to raw materials, and advantageous logistics positions. The first is our İzmir-Ören facility, where our first factory for dried fruit and derivative production is located. The second is our Zonguldak-Ormanlı facility, where we produce hazelnuts and their derivatives. The third is our Afyon-Sultandağı frozen fruit factory, where freezing processes are carried out with advanced technologies.

İzmir - Ören Facility

Our İzmir-Ören facility, where dried fruits and their derivatives are processed and packaged, also houses our headquarters where our white-collar employees work. Our Işık Tarım accredited Research and Development center is also located in this campus, which employs approximately 1000 people.

Our facility, with an annual production capacity of over 25,000 tons, processes more than 175 product varieties, including dried fruits, infused fruits, fruit bars, fruit balls, and healthy fruit snacks.

Organic fruits from our Happy Village Project registered farmers, located in almost every region of Turkey, are stored after test results are obtained during the raw material acceptance stage. They go through sizing, washing, and sorting processes on our advanced technology lines, which include numerous laser and X-Ray devices. The whole, cutting, mashing, infusion, shaping, and packaging stages are completed according to orders and requests from our customers in different regions of the world.

Products that have completed all necessary stages in the bulk product section are packaged in our packaging department in different packaging types such as boxes, doypack, quadro, lunchbox, and pillow pack, in the desired weights after laboratory analyses are completed.

Our İzmir Ören facility holds an important position in the transportation network established with important transfer points in our country and the world in terms of logistics. Being a port city and its connection with other port cities in the world provides our company with a great advantage in delivering our products to many different regions of the world.


Zonguldak - Ormanlı Factory

Işık Tarım Zonguldak Ormanlı hazelnut facility is established in a central location where our organic hazelnut projects are located. Hazelnuts produced within the scope of our Happy Hazelnut project are stored in separate storage areas and silos in our factory after the tests in the raw material acceptance stage are completed, classified according to organic or social certificates requested by our customers.

Our Zonguldak-Ormanlı facility has a shelled raw material cracking and processing capacity of 28,000 tons/year. The cracked products are processed through lines equipped with high-tech laser and X-Ray machines. After machine control, our workers on the production lines repeat the sorting processes.

In our integrated hazelnut factory, we also produce roasted hazelnuts, chopped hazelnuts, hazelnut puree, and flour. Depending on the product type and our customers' requests, packaging operations are carried out with different packaging options from big bag packaging to kraft, bulk, vacuum, and small-weight packaging. Additionally, IBC and HDPE plastic barrels and metal barrels are used for hazelnut puree.

Finally, our processed organic products pass through a metal detector, undergo final quality controls, and are transported to be delivered to our customers.


Afyon - Sultandağı Factory

Our Afyon-Sultandağı factory, where frozen fruit production is carried out with IQF technology, is organized according to BRC Food Safety Management System requirements and is located in a very strategic position with its proximity to raw materials and logistics advantage.

In our facility, many products are processed, including frozen strawberries, cherries, sour cherries, raspberries, blackberries, apricots, figs, plums, and pomegranates. Fruits supplied from our Happy Village Organic Project are classified according to product type after the raw material acceptance stage. Then, depending on the product type and demand, they go through preliminary preparation processes such as washing, sorting, cutting, and seed removal. Finally, they are frozen using IQF technology.

All processes in our production facility are carried out using world-standard special automatic sorting, product processing, and packaging systems, including technologies such as X-Ray and Laser. Our frozen products, whose packaging process is completed with the requested packaging type, are stored in our -18°C warehouses without breaking the cold chain and are shipped with -21°C cold vehicles.
